In a recent interview given to ‌InStyle magazine, Khloe Kardashian opened up about being obsessed with weight loss after her divorce from Lamar Odom. The 38-year-old fashion icon and media figure finalized her divorce from Lamar in December 2016. ‌In the interview, she revealed that she “turned to the gym” as she didn’t know what else to do after the separation. 

It was in 2009, Khloe and Lamar decided to tie the knot after one month of dating. But in 2013, they decided to get separated, but the official divorce was finalized in 2016. According to Khloe, new challenges have always inspired her fitness journey. But after her 40 lb weight loss, she no longer cares for the numbers on the measuring scale.

When she decided to part ways with Lamar, she started working out a lot. The reality icon calls herself a “control freak”, but admits that in life, ‘we can’t control everything’.

But according to her, she considers the gym as her comfort place where she is sure that her effort will be paid equally. She loves being a control freak and having authority over things related to her. 

The divorce from the former professional basket player, Lamar made Khole ‌turn to the gym. She started working out to get over that hump and felt so accomplished.

Being a control freak, she considers the gym as her favorite place, and working out is her therapy. The divorce had quite an impact on her and she wanted to overcome the bitter struggles of it.

Lamar suffered from a drug overdose in the past and Khloe had to take care of him. Upon his recovery, she filed for divorce in May 2016 and it was finalized after seven months. ‌In an earlier chat show with her sister Kim Kardashian, Khole revealed the details of her divorce.

According to her being a significant part of each other’s lives, both she and Lamar had to suffer the struggles of separation. She considers it ‌a natural outcome of a painful divorce. 

In the interview with InStyle, the model opened up about her affinity for working out. According to her, if she is having a bad day, she would go to the gym. Even though she will feel like not hitting the gym, after the session, she will feel ‌lighter and relaxed.
